The Olympus SZX2 series features the uniqueOlympus LED base system for fine control of transmitted illumination andbright, even images. With the ultra-slim 40 mm base, the SZX2 series has theergonomic stage height available . Moreover, a novel carousel makes it easy toselect and control brightfield, darkfield, and oblique illumination. Thelong-life LEDs do not heat the stage or the sample, greatly enhancing theflexibility for material stereo microscopy.

● High Performance Cameras
With the SZX10 you will want to document orshow live digital views of your sample. By utilizing a trinocular head andmoving the objective in the axial imaging pathway a perpendicular view of thesample is obtained. Attaching the Olympus DP cooled digital camera produces avery flexible imaging station. This is designed for high resolutiondocumentation (up to 17.3 mega pixels) as well as high-speed imaging for liveviews. The advanced interface enables excellent color reproduction and novisible color shifts during sample movement.
● Image Analysis Software
OLYMPUS Stream imaging softwareoffers all the tools required to undertake simple 2D measurements throughcomplex analysis in an easy to use environment and supports a multitude ofoperations including observation, report generation, database creation, andarchiving. The SZX16 motorized focus drive makes digital documentationefficient and fully automatic with extended focal imaging (EFI). EFI enablesusers to easily create pseudo-3D images.
